The Medici Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private foundation established in 2006 by William Medici and Lisa Medici. The Foundation is dedicated to creating opportunities in the arts, supporting artists and filmmakers, and preserving cultural heritage.

Its projects and partnerships include:

• Angelo Musco’s Illy Café Art Series: Collaborated with acclaimed artist Angelo Musco and Illy Coffee to showcase Musco’s work.
• Bagabonds: Produced and promoted the Off-Broadway play.
• Veteran Film Lab: Created a program to help veterans develop original content through access to resources, mentorship, and business opportunities.
• New York City International Film Festival: Maintains an ongoing partnership with the festival, providing filmmakers from around the world with a platform to present their work and connect with audiences.
• Italian American Museum: Identified, negotiated, and secured the museum’s property in New York City and supported its design, planning, and capital campaign.
• Chinatown and Little Italy Historic District: In honor of Lisa’s grandfather, who emigrated from Italy and lived in Little Italy, the Foundation led efforts to secure historic recognition for Little Italy and Chinatown. The designation celebrates the generations of immigrants and communities that shaped these enduring New York neighborhoods.
