Valeria Silvestri

Valeria Silvestri is an Italian public-sector executive, international law scholar, writer, and cultural strategist whose career has crossed government, diplomacy, emergency management, media, and the arts. She served as a senior official within Italy’s Department of Civil Protection, where she coordinated mobility and essential services during national and international emergencies.

Her career has included service as Italy’s civil protection attaché to the European Union, participation in emergency operations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and work supporting Italy’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in her career, she worked in digital media and cultural communications executive.

Valeria currently serves as managing director of Dolce, a multi-platform content company, and is the Vice President and Secretary of The Medici Foundation. Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to international cooperation, cultural memory, public service, and the institutions that connect people across national boundaries.
